The Verner Building was built in 1925 likely for Samuel L. Verner. Verner and J.F. Craig started a mercantile business in 1905 and a clothing store stood on the left part of this building in 1911. It is just a guess that Samuel was the Verner that built this building so if someone has more knowledge of this building, please comment below.
