The Feasterville Academy Boarding House was built in 1842. The building behind the right side is the standalone kitchen. The date the Feasterville Female Academy was established is unknown but it is likely between 1832 and 1841 by John Feaster. The Academy offered standard general education plus Latin, chemistry, piano, guitar, botany, and astronomy.
