The Church of the Holy Trinity was built in 1858. The congregation dates to 1824, when the congregation’s first sanctuary called Union Chapel was built. The Chapel of the Holy Trinity replaced the Union Chapel in 1830. In 1834, the congregation became independent of its parish church.
