The T. G. Patrick Store was built ca. 1903 by Calvin Brice for Thomas G. Patrick. The Patrick family moved to the area from York County around 1870 and was instrumental in developing the White Oak community by building houses, a general store, and a church.

Lots of Memories of that House. It was my fathers and his sisters home (Sisters were Sarah Jane, Hannah and Iva). remember feeling the hoime shake when trains would roll by and also the community with a majority of Patricks. Always thought the road should be named Patrick Lane
