McGill’s Store was built in ca. 1887 by James Leslie McGill (later news reports says 1888). The business was operated by the McGill family until February 1st, 2020. Jame McGill passed the store to his son Charles McGill. Charles turned the store over this his sons David McGill and Jimmy McGill (his wife Tammy had an active role in the store).
