First National Bank of York

The First National Bank of York was built in 1914. The bank opened in 1903 as the First National Bank of Yorkville and change to First National Bank of York in 1917. First National Bank of York merged with the Peoples Bank & Trust of Rock Hill in 1920. That bank failed in 1929. The Bank of York was founded in the building in 1935 and moved out of the building in 1971. In 2015 and 2016, the building was a filming location for the Cinemax series Outcast.
