135 N. Dargan was built 1920. The building was owned by William H. & Catherine Berry until 1947. In the early 1950s, the H. J. Burch Department Store was located here, followed by Larkins-Boyd’s Clothing Store. The Florence Discount Store opened her in 1962 followed by Maxwell Furniture in 1969.
