The Haynesworth/Breedin House was built ca. 1845 by J.R. Hayneswort. The Haynesworth’s owned the home until 1875, Pressley Barron from 1876 – 1902, Joseph Sprott 1902 – 1930, and J.K. Breedin from 1930 – 1976. Mrs. Sophie Drayton, niece of Mrs. Breedin, inherited the home from Mrs. Breedin. The home now is a wedding venue called the Drayton House.
