The Martin’s Store started life as Daniel’s Store or the Beehive and was built pre-Civil War by James Wright Daniel. In 1878, James Martin bought the store and ran it until his death the next year.  Martin’s son J.C. Martin and his grandsons ran this general store for 119 years.
