Gillisonville Baptist Church

The Gillisonville Baptist Church was built in 1838. A church on this site was first used in 1832 as the summer home of Coosawhatchie Baptist Church and it was renamed Gillisonville Baptist Church in 1885. This is one of 2 structures from the town of Gillisonville that survived Sherman’s Army.
