The Little Theatre was built ca. 1920 as the Thielene Theater. Newspapers list the Thielene Theater as existing in 1918 and the theater is listed on the 1922 Sanborn Fire Map. In 1945, J. W. Hand is listed as the owner of the Little Theatre.
