The Sarah Corbin Robert School at the Tamassee DAR School was built 1942. The building is named for the National Society President General (1938-1941) Sarah Corbin of Maryland. The school is one of only two in the United States created by the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). In 1999, a new Tamassee-Salem Elementary School was built adjacent to the Tamassee DAR School campus. The building then housed the Tamassee Academy and other campus educational programs.
Location: Tamassee, South Carolina.
