The C Graham Block was built by Herbert Cornelius “Jack” Graham in 1897 after a fire destroyed the previous building. Jack’s father Cornelius was a merchant and Jack was known more a major property owner. Occupying the building at the time of the fire was a business run by Douglass McIntyre and later was a business run by G. A. Mclntyre, Jr.
