The Sullivan-King Mortuary was built in 1909 as the U.S. Post Office. In 1941, the Sullivan-King Mortuary moved into the former Post Office. Sullivan-King Mortuary started in 1923 as the McDougald-Bleckley Mortuary. In 1930, W.W. “Bill” King became Manager and Secretary and by 1935, the company was owned by D.L. Reid, Sam O. Sullivan, and Bill King.
