Union Central Graded School

Built in 1891, Central Graded School is the oldest surviving public school building in Union County. The two-story school was built on the site of the Unionville Female Academy (c.1834). The building continued to be used by the school district until 1976, when it was transferred to the University of South Carolina, Union Regional Campus
