Completed in 1809, this is the third building to serve St. John’s and is the oldest Lutheran Church still standing in South Carolina. The first location was a log cabin built in the 1750s. In 1763, a royal grant to build their second church on this property. The school may have been built in the 1820’s and operated until 1921. The forth church was built across the street in in 1950
