Honea Path Carnegie Library

In 1907, local teacher Jennie Erwin became an active advocate for the construction of a library in town and pushed for a Carnegie grant to realize her vision. Honea Path was the smallest town in SC to receive a Carnegie grant. This location opened in 1908 and was renamed to recognize Jennie Erwin for her work in 1958
