Firefighters from numerous communities battled the inferno at The Unity Presbyterian Church founded in 1788. The Unity Presbyterian Church is located on Tom Hall Street in the hear of Historic Fort Mill. Parishioners of the church say there are thousands of members of the church. Just the past weekend the church was a part of a historic tour through the Town of Fort Mill. The cause of the fire is under investigation
This commercial building is in the small town of Peak. Peak was founded in 1853 as Peak’s Station on the Greenville & Columbia Railroad. Peak incorporated in 1880. The town had 3 major fires in the commercial district in 1909, 1953, & 1978 →
