The I. S. Harley Block Building was built in 1903. Irvin Sylvanus Harley started as a mercantile in 1882 with only $95 to his name. Mr Harley eventually own several buildings and was the president of a bank. His sons, I. S. Harley Jr. & Clifton, joined his cousin Dukes to create the Dukes-Harley Funeral Home⁠
