The R. L. Sturgis home was built ca. 1905. Sturgis was on the Rock Hill City Council in the early 1900s. He helped start the York County Southern Cotton Association in 1905

The White Home in Rock Hill was built in 1839 and is one of the original homes in Rock Hill. 5 Generations of the White family lived here until 2005

The Withers Building was built in 1891 and remodeled in 1912-1913. The Winthrop Training School (as listed on the building) in Rock Hill, SC, is a public university founded in 1886

The Wall that Heals, a traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall, is in Rock Hill until Sunday at 2PM. The wall contains the names of the 58,276 members of the military members that died while in Vietnam
