Jesse’s parents, Alexander and Jennet Faires, traveled here on horseback on the Great Philadelphia Wagon Road or Nation Ford Road from Pennsylvania in 1776.

This fire truck was used by Flint Hill Fire Department in Fort Mill township and by other local agencies during its life. It is now again part of the Flint Hill Fire Department as a show truck
